Moonblogging

There was a total eclipse of the moon tonight. The sky was also mostly clear, so I got to see the eclipse. Here’s some of what I saw.

Early in the eclipse, the moon started to disappear.

As more of the moon was covered in shadow, it took on a red/orange color.

    I think I’ve got things set now so that Google Reader users can see the images without getting the “no hotlinking” warning, while still blocking the leeches.

    it was clear night, but for some reason the lunar eclipse never gets me going.

    now the solar ones … that’s freaky cool.
